50 Portraits – Portrait #32

Portrait

Empathy.  Not sure why this word has been stuck for last several days with me.  Some times we mistake empathy with pity.  Empathy  <> Pity.

When I first thought of making a portrait of Mr. Ashish Ivon Charan, the first word that came to mind was goofy.  I’m sure he’s got his share of problems to deal with.   But I wanted a fun image of him.  It’s so exciting when you have an image in your mind and you can’t wait to give it a try.  This person was one of those who I couldn’t wait to get in front of the camera.  This image is no where close to what I had in mind but I’ll take it.  Some times the image in the head is just a draft that finishes with the end product on screen.  Absolutely loved having this man in front of the camera.
