I had to reshoot this portrait as the results of the first one were dismal. Not that this portrait is outstanding but it’s more close to the ‘acceptable’ level than I had shot previously. The ones I hope no one sees ever. The photo was taken on a roof in shade at evening with medium harsh sunlight still filling the shades well. Camera settings on my Canon 1100d were f2.8, 1/250, ISO 100 @50mm available light.
A portrait in this series has been long due. He works at a petrol pump (Gas Station). He wasn’t very comfortable being photographed in the uniform outside as the uniform gives away where he works and probably not a very popular one but a damn hard job as you can tell from the shoes. I asked him the same two questions I’ve been asking others.
Q. What’s the best thing you like about your job?
A. I make money.
Q. What’s the thing that you don’t like about your job?
A. The money I make.
